💖Community Reading Day is next week (on 3/6)! Our Community Readers will be arriving at TPS between 9:00-9:15 and will enjoy a small breakfast in the library until 9:30. At 9:25, please send two Warriors from your class (to the library) at 9:30 to help escort your reader to your classroom! We anticipate the readers finishing up by 10:00. Readers will then need to be escorted back to the library by two Warriors (same or different) when they are all done! A HUGE thank you to the PTA (especially Janna Millette) for helping to make this happen! It has been something I have wanted to do since I came to TPS, but was not able to pull it off. I am hoping this is a new tradition! Janna would like to share more information with you. Check that out here. Please take pictures! Share them with me! I hope to make it to every room, but just in case, please take a few! The books the readers come to read are now yours for your classroom collections! Please add them to the read aloud list. ;-)
🏀March Madness is back! Here is the bracket! To start off next week, we'll face off by playing Odds/Evens. You'll play best out of three. The instructions are below. Let us know up in the office who wins so we can add it to the next round on the bracket!
🕮The book fair is 3/17-3/19. Please sign up for a shopping time here. It will be held in 106.
👉We have a Team Chair! Elizabeth Stiles will be joining us starting next week! Her office will be in with Eileen at the main office. John will continue to hold some meetings during the transition, but she will be the new go-to for special ed concerns/questions. She will be here on Thursdays, Fridays, and part time Wednesdays.
★I wanted to let you know that Amanda has resigned. Her last day is 3/6. We wish her well in her new position and thank her for being a part of our TPS team for the last 6 months! Her job has been posted and we are working through the hiring process to fill the position.
