I have really appreciated the time I have had this week sitting with people and checking in.  There's still time to sign up. No pressure. 

💡Heads up! If you arrive in the morning and it's dark inside the school, please don't enter.  Chances are, if the lights aren't on, the custodial staff has not arrived (yet) and the alarm is on. You can text me to check (508-560-4081). We love our PPD, but we don't want to bother them at 6:30AM! These situations don't occur regularly, but it's something to keep in mind just in case. 

🛒Holiday Shop is next week!  Here is the schedule.  The Shop will be in the OT/Strings room. 

 🎧I have placed three sets of noise canceling headphones in both the gym and the cafe for any students you have that may be overwhelmed with noise in both rooms.  Students may access these headphones in both settings, but need to make sure to put them back.  In the gym, these headphones are located just as you enter the girls locker room from the gym (near Rachel's office).  In the cafe, they are on hooks on the brown cabinet in the custodial corner.  

📖Please review the YA policy for the library. We cannot deny a student the opportunity to take a book out, even if it is YA.  

😁We will have a PBIS assembly on 12/23 at 2:00 in the gym.  We'll do a student/staff competition of "Stack Attack" (the box stacking challenge).  Check out what I mean here.  Raffle tickets will be in your mailboxes.  Students can purchase  a chance to play for 10 Tommy Tickets. You can put the tickets in the bowl in the main office. I will draw names on 12/19.  If you need more tickets, I will leave them with Roger. If you want to compete, put your name on this doc! If you have any huge boxes you'd like to part with, please let me know!

📆On Wednesday we have a staff meeting. We will start the meeting in the library.  Here is the draft agenda. A message from the ILT: At our upcoming staff meeting, teachers will dive into our ILT writing work. To make the session productive, please come prepared with your Chromebook and your first graded pre- and post-writing assessments. These materials will help guide our work and discussion as we look at student growth and plan next steps. Thanks for your continued dedication to strengthening writing instruction!

🌡Moving forward, assume that recess is outdoors everyday unless there is a 10:15 announcement.  

🎊Don't forget our Holiday Staff Party is Thursday! Thank you Carrie and Christina for organizing this!
