Welcome Back! August 2026

🌞I hope you have been enjoying living your best lives!  I was going to wait and share this on Friday, but I've had a lot of questions come through and I wanted to get you all the info I have to share (including rosters, schedules, etc.).

👉To begin, I do have some staffing updates to share:

Lindsay May has moved on to be a Team Chair at Mountview! We are currently working through the hiring process for her replacement. I could not be more happy for Lindsay - she will be amazing at this position! Lindsay, we will miss you.

Nurse Karina has resigned. We are currently working through the hiring process for her replacement!  Karina, we wish you well! Thank you for your time here at TPS! I hope you enjoy being at home with Gracie and your new little girl on the way!

Lana LeBlanc has been assigned to TPS this year as our ML teacher. Carrie has moved on to WRHS. Welcome Lana!

We welcome Betsy Soderberg who joins us as a paraprofessional!

We welcome Kendra Henrickson, our new Team Chair!  Kendra will work part time at TPS and PCS.

👥This year, we will not begin our day on 8/25 at WRHS. The entire day will be spent here at TPS.   Here is the agenda for what to expect that day.  We will begin our day with breakfast provided by the main office. You will be on your own for lunch.

⭐Here is this year's Bitmoji/TPS Staff Website.  It has everything you need and want to know (or maybe not lol).  Elementary specials will run off of days of the week this year  - not A-F days.

📚Books - please check out my book count document to cross reference what I have listed for what teachers still need. If you need more than what I have listed there, please add it to the "Need" column in a different color. I don't want anything to get lost in an email, so we'll all work off of this doc.

👧Extended Day Update: We are still looking for a coordinator and staff to work the program! If you know someone who may be interested, please tell them to apply!

💻Katie Blake, our new science teacher, shared these PD opportunities with me! She said if you are struggling to get 15 PDPs in the area of inclusion (students with disabilities…SEL…) there is a link to a free online, course (scroll way down) through DESE.

🌞Enjoy your last 5 days of summer!!!!!!!!!!!
