We are thrilled to welcome Karli Buel as our new adjustment counselor, joining our team next week! Karli brings a wealth of experience in providing social-emotional support to students, most recently serving at Brimfield Elementary School. Her expertise will be invaluable in addressing the diverse needs of our K-8 community, from fostering emotional resilience in our youngest learners to supporting our middle schoolers as they navigate the challenges of adolescence. We are confident that Karli’s compassionate approach and dedication to student well-being will make a positive impact on our school. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome! We anticipate that she will work with tier 2 students and with teachers to support tier 1 SEL supports. Her office will be across the hall from the MS math room. 

MCAS 

Some of you have asked about MCAS dates for this year. You can find them on the TPS Calendar, but here they are: 

• 4/8 & 4/9 ELA (3-8)
• 5/6 & 5/7 Math (3-8)
• 5/13 & 5/15 STE (5 & 8)
• 5/20 & 5/21 Civics (8) 

Please welcome Cassidy Saksa, Camille's student teacher from Worcester State!  It's always nice to be able to put a name to a face you may be seeing around TPS lately! Cassidy will be here at TPS through mid-May! 

Schedule Changes

Arlene will resume her old schedule on Monday. I have made some changes to the para schedules now that Sonia has left.  Please check out the schedules to see changes that have been made and how your class may be impacted. Please see me with any questions/concerns. 

Just a reminder on the phone policy. If a student has their phone out (w/o permission or for an activity), please direct them to put it in their bag or locker with the warning that if it happens again it goes to the office. The second time they are caught with the phone, please have them walk it to the office, where we will have them notify their parents that it needs to be picked up by one of them at the end of the school day.
