Some of you may have noticed the posting already but I wanted to thank Caitlyn for the time she has spent with us here at TPS! She has put in her resignation effective the 21st. While her time here was brief, her impact was strong. I know you will all join me in wishing her the best in her new endeavor.
I wanted to let you know that we have been able to fill long-term substitute positions for both Michaela and Bianca (the second is still pending HR/paperwork so details to follow). Starting in the new year, MaryAnne Hawkridge will be joining us from her paraprofessional position at Davis Hill. She has previous experience teaching the grade and was by far the best candidate for the job.
Last week, we had a Faculty Council meeting. The notes are attached here. TLDR? Cliff notes here:
- The custodians will move the trash can from the 6th-grade wing out to recess during the day.
- The second staff meeting in December will be a winter celebration. See Carrie's email this week.
- I've talked to a few folks about transitions around lunchtime. Should be smooth sailing.
