I think it is widely known but I didn't get to officially announce last week, that Lisbet will be leaving TPS today. Like in The Godfather, she was made an offer she could not refuse. Truly, it is a great opportunity for her and her family. I know you will all join me in wishing her the best! 

In this vein, BethAnne sent out updated schedules and was able to get Mrs. Patrone to cover for the month of December while we seek out new hires. At this point, we were able to offer to one person but they were unable to take it. 

Also in a similar vein, we are going to work diligently to figure out coverages in the mornings. Moving forward, I am requesting all absences be reported in ReadySub and MUNIS by 7:15. 

Hopefully, everyone has received an email from Bruce about PaperCut, the new printing program. Make sure you do a hard restart to your computer. My understanding is that as of Monday this will be needed for printing. If the copier requests a code, it is your employee number. This is found on MUNIS.  

Wednesday will be our December staff meeting. Elementary staff will be meeting the in library with Carrie to receive PD around ST Math. Middle School advisors will meet in room 209 to discuss advisory and next steps. 

If you've been following the news, you may know that the FBI is involved with several schools in the state who have had strangers try to gain access to the building. This should serve as a reminder that if you seen someone in the building who is unfamiliar and not wearing a vistor badge you should ask them their purpose and call the main office. Tracy does a great job of vetting people at the door. Please remain vigilant. 

Starting in the new year (maybe sooner), MaryAnne Hawkridge will be joining us from her paraprofessional position at Davis Hill. MaryAnne will be covering Michaela's maternity leave. She has previous experience teaching the grade and was by far the best candidate for the job.
