3/1

Congratulations to Bianca and family! Baby Oliver was born Friday the 23rd at 8:35am (19 inches, 6lbs 10 oz). 100% adorable!

I also wanted to let you all know that Denise Prunier reached out and is stepping away from her current role. She has been a valuable member of the community and will be missed.

Did you know...you all have access to NearPod through Record Book?

Monday is our Community Reader day. Thank you to Jessie and Nicole for making this happen! Readers will make their way down (book in hand) around 9:00. Your reader may change as people are sometimes forced to cancel last minute. You will have a replacement reader if this is the case:

Door decorating: All rooms are invited to decorate their door for the book fair and play. The theme is "enchanted library" so feel free to take that and run. Doors can start getting decorated at any point but judging will take place on 3/19.

A question came up this week about cafeteria seating. The tables have two stools per side so obviously one student per stool. The tables with benches seem to be able to accommodate 3 middle schoolers per bench so this is reasonable for the lower grades as well.

Looking ahead:

  • Monday (3/4) Day C
    • Community Reader Day
  • Tuesday (3/5)
    • Election Day - No School for students - PD for staff
  • Wednesday (3/6) Day D
  • Thursday (3/7) Day A
    • STEAM Night planning meeting
    • WRHS 8th Grade Parents Night (6:00-7:30)
  • Friday (3/8) Day B
