Thank you to everyone who gave the last 1/2 Day schedule a go and to those who reached out with feedback. Listening to this, we will go back to a condensed schedule on the next half day 11/1. You can find that schedule on the bitmoji classroom under "bell schedule."

While on the topic of 11/1, this is the PD schedule for that half day. Please take a look and let me know ASAP if you do not feel like you are included here. I want enough time to be thoughtful for people who might need an alternate opportunity. 

Costume parade logistics: Kindergarteners through 3rd graders will participate in the parade. We have scheduled the Fall costume parade for October 27th to align with the student council's costume-themed day. It will begin around 9:00. Students in grades K-3 can wear their costumes to school that day but should bring a container to place their materials in after the parade to make sure nothing is lost. Given that this is a spirit day, if the costumes are a distraction or too hot, they may not be able to keep them on.  If a student in your class has beliefs that inhibit participation in this event, please let me know. Everyone else is free to pick the closest exit around the back of the building to bring their classes to watch. K through 3 will follow each other out the bus lobby doors, take a right, and walk clockwise around the building before returning through the bus lobby doors. The middle school band will lead the way! 

Wednesday is the next scheduled staff meeting. We will discuss PBIS and review ALICE. 

A Note from BethAnne

I look forward to talking more about PBIS at the staff meeting on Wednesday, but here are a few updates:

• The Prince Plaza is up and running/restocked.  We are working on updating some of the rewards. 
• The Prince Plaza shopping sign up sheet is HERE. Please sign your class up on this doc and indicate whether it will be a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visit. 
• If anyone has an experience that they would like to add to the coupon wall, let me know.  
• Tracy is making more Tommy Tickets (thanks Tracy), so keep a lookout for more in the office bucket.  
• Please also note that all Tommy Tickets are in the yellow-hue family. If a child suddenly has a white ticket, it's counterfeit lol.
