😮Three day weekends always come at the right time!

🗪 You should have received more information about your parent/teacher conference sign-up account. Here are the directions for you to access your account on PTC Wizard.  Please see me if you had thoughts about changing the time/length of your conferences. If you are a parent of a student in the WRSD, the suggestion is that you reach out to your child's teacher ahead of time (before schedules are released) to try to schedule a time during the evening slot.  

⭐Just a heads-up that we cannot accept donations for air purifiers. If you are using an air purifier in your room, please let me know.  I'm concerned about filters and making sure that we are using purifiers that have clean filters.   In addition, I know a lot of you have Amazon wishlists. We need to be careful with these and make sure that it is clear that these are classroom donations and not teacher donations. 

🧋This message was shared with families regarding drinks. Please uphold this expectation below with your students. Thanks! Due to some recent incident/issues with beverages, we're asking that your child only come in to school with a beverage in a screw top container.  Beverages from coffee shops or even cans have been creating an issue.  Outside of what is offered/eaten in the cafeteria, if your child comes in with one of these beverages, we'll have to ask them to throw it away. Thank you for working with us on this! 

🚪Do you want some black contact paper for your door window? It's mostly see through and we have a lot of rolls of it. Let me know!

📆We have a staff meeting on Wednesday.  We'll be talking about the SRP Lockdown procedure.  You can read about it on the agenda linked here.  We'll also be touching base about Panorama and the SST process. Paraprofessionals, please open the staff meeting agenda and read about the Lockdown procedure linked there as "handout". 

👉From HR: 

The Human Resources Department will be hosting a series of office hours to provide an opportunity for staff to meet with our team. We will be prepared to answer any general HR inquiries, health insurance or benefits questions, and any other HR questions or concerns.

Our second school visit will be at Central Tree Middle School on October 15th from 3 pm-4 pm. 

These office hours are open to all employees, and we encourage you to stop by. We look forward to connecting with you and providing support and guidance on any questions you may have!
