👏I'd like to thank Christina and the ILT for their work with us on Wednesday! I'm excited to see what we can do as a school with writing as our focus.  I know middle school missed out, but we will find time to loop you in soon! 

🚒Great job with the fire drill today!  Just a reminder to pull doors shut behind you! Also, if your primary exit is blocked, be sure to make your way to your rally point location no matter what exit you use. 

🚸Placement: I was going to save this until 5/28, but I feel we need to make some headway on this sooner.  k-4  teachers, please look at this spreadsheet.  If you could work on placing your students during your CPT, and wrap up your recommendations by 5/30, that would be great.  I have emails scheduled to send to each elementary grade level at 4:30 today with parent input from the questionnaire I sent out. Please remember we don't "honor requests", but if you feel their suggestion is the best fit, I support that! If you have questions or concerns as to where the students had been recommended by special education (or by me for assorted other reasons), please let me know. I am open for a conversation and to discuss everyone's thinking! 

😔I have some sad news to share. MaryAnn's mom passed away last weekend.  You can find the obituary here.  I know you'll join me in giving MaryAnn our sincerest of sympathies. We are thinking of you, MaryAnn.

🎓I also have some happy to news to share. Congratulations to both Destiny and Alex who graduated this week with their Masters!  We are so proud of you! Congratulations on such an awesome accomplishment!

🚗Just a reminder to not send students to the cafe for PPU until the announcement is made. We've had some students arriving early recently and they are unattended for a bit (which we can't really have happen). Thanks!

🍎Staff Appreciation Week is coming!!!! I finally delivered the coffee maker this week and I know the PTA has some special deliveries arriving too! So exciting! Thanks PTA!
